This is the first way to share your video. It is more direct and is:

How to Share YouTube Video on Twitter Using a Link

To share a YouTube video using the first method, your Twitter account must be logged in on the same device on which you’re streaming YouTube.
You can also use Twitter to share a YouTube video.
The second method for sharing YouTube videos is to copy the URL of the video and then paste it into the tweet.
Copy the URL of the video the same way that you shared it in the first method.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the video and click on the “Share Button“.
- You’ll see a popup with different sharing options after clicking the button. One option is the “Copy URL button”.
- You can copy the URL and paste it in your clipboard to your Twitter draft page.

How can I share a YouTube clip without a thumbnail or preview?
When you share a YouTube video on Twitter, it shows a preview or the thumbnail of the video by default (on many devices); and for any reason, if you want to share the video without a preview or the thumbnail then you can simply press on the ‘X’ button which denotes the ‘Close Button’.
This button can be found in the top right corner or top left corner depending on which device and platform you are using. This button will only leave the link to the video in the tweet. The text will not be saved after you click it.
