With a variety of settings enabled, the Call of Duty battle royale can now be played up to 120 fps. This results in a smoother experience than previously when playing on Sony consoles.

How can I enable 120FPS for Warzone on PS5?
It’s essential to make sure your display supports 120hz input before you follow these steps. If your display isn’t able to support 120hz, then no amount of modifications to your settings will let you enjoy Warzone in 120FPS mode on PS5.
Now that your 120hz has been double-checked depending on how you set up your PS5 up from out of the box. There’s also a possibility that Warzone will run automatically at 120FPS once you’ve installed an update to the Season 4 update.

If it’s not however, you’ll need swiftly adjust some settings prior to launching the game.
- In your PS5 system settings, choose the ‘Screen & Video Category.
- Check for the “Video Output option in the lower right corner of this section.
- Set ‘Enable 120Hz Output’ to ‘Automatic.’
- Go back to the main settings menu and select “Saved data and game/app settings.”
- Change ‘Game Presets’ to ‘Performance Mode.’
Now that these settings have been applied and in the future, all PS5 games will default to a higher FPS output, regardless of the graphics quality. This is only applicable for displays equipped with HDMI 2.1.

If your display isn’t compatible with HDMI 2.1, you’ll require adjusting the resolution first. Change your display’s resolution to 1080p so that you can get to the 120FPS threshold.
