You can save a tweet to be saved later, regardless of whether it’s a thought that you forgot on the subway or a book recommendation that you don’t know the name of. Unfortunately, you can’t save or access drafts while on the move. The Twitter mobile site and desktop sites don’t have drafts. You can’t cancel or dispose of tweets that you have closed online.

How to Find Your Drafts on Twitter

1. Instead of tapping the tweet icon on your home screen, hold down the new Twitter icon and tap the “Drafts” button. This will open a menu that includes three icons. Tap the feather icon.
2. This will open drafts folders and any saved drafts in the provided space. To reopen the draft window, tap on any item. You can then continue typing and tap “Tweet” when you are ready to tweet.
3. To manage your drafts, tap the blue “Edit” option.

How to Delete Drafts on Twitter

1. Continue steps 1 through 3 from the section.
2 Tap on the “Select All” option to quickly highlight any drafts you want to delete.
3. To select items, you can tap each bubble individually. Select items will be marked with a green checkmark. After selecting one item, the “Select All” option will be changed to “Unselect All.” To uncheck items that you have marked, tap this. To remove the items you have selected, tap the “Delete” button.
4. Finally, swipe to the left on any tweet to bring up a red “Delete” button. To remove a tweet, tap this button without opening the “Edit” menu.

How to Make a Draft on Twitter
1. Open Twitter on your tablet or phone.
2. Tap on the new Twitter icon on the right side of your home screen. This icon is located on the right side of iPhones. This is the left side of iPads.
3. To open a popup, tap “Cancel” in the upper left corner. Instead of deleting it, tap the “save draft” button.
- To save a draft, you must enter at least one character. An empty tweet cannot be saved. Tap “Cancel” to close the window if there is no text. You’ll then return to your home screen.
- Twitter’s browser version does not offer the “Save Draft” option. You will only be able to cancel or delete your tweet, regardless of whether you are on the desktop or mobile site. Twitter will notify you when your draft is about to be lost.
