C5 Capital is a Washington-based, specialist venture capital company that invests in cybersecurity energy security, space, and space. It also recently announced Emily Killam joined as Operating Partner.
Killam will be representing C5 Capital as the newest Board member of Hazelcast, an online stream processing platform that is real-time.

Emily Killam Joins C5 Capital as Operating Partner
Killam is an executive leader for cloud services with over 20 years of experience managing commercialization and business development in the technology field. She is currently the Senior Vice-President of GTM Operations at Splunk. She is in charge of every aspect of operations in sales customers, customer success, and marketing to support the whole GTM company. Before joining Splunk, Killam led shared services and business operations for Amazon Web Services (AWS) Worldwide Public Sector business.
Before being hired by Amazon Web Services in 2013, she was Raytheon’s Program Financial Manager for over eight years. She was responsible for overseeing the delivery and performance of secret government contracts for The US Intelligence community. Killam has an undergraduate degree in Science of Business degree in Business from Pennsylvania State University.

Her appointment will come as C5 strengthens the portfolio company’s go-to-market selling capabilities, especially within the public sector. She will aid in developing C5 portfolio companies to develop their business and go-to-market strategies across the portfolio.
