It was in the year 2021 that Deep Optics introduced its first adaptive product: 32degN, a pair of sunglasses that can change into reading glasses in one swipe. The company is working with other companies operating in the Augmented and Virtual Reality space (AR/VR) to enhance the optical performance and experience for those who wear headsets for AR/VR. The company is also considering incorporating its dynamic focus lenses into medical consumer devices for vision health. Its shareholders currently are EssilorLuxottica along with Samsung Ventures.
