Afon Technology, a Chepstow South Wales-based medical technology company, has raised PS600K in the capital.
The backers weren’t disclosed.
The company plans to use the money to boost expansion and growth.

Afon Technology Raised PS600K in Funding
As directed by CEO Sabih Choudhry, Afon Technology develops a non-invasive wearable blood glucose meter. The device is compact enough to be worn using an attached watchstrap and is connected to Bluetooth to the wearer’s smartphone or watch/device.
The technology is patent-pending and has been subjected to extensive clinical tests at an insulin test clinic in Germany and further tests on one NHS facility in the UK. The device was designed to tackle the wearables and diabetes market and complies with the most stringent global regulations
